We had earnings before the Guesthouse opened

Because we were fairly new to the hospitality industry, we sat down with GuestDiary and asked them what we needed to do before we even started to renovate the building. Our target was create a guesthouse that needed very little management. We did what they told us, even if we didn't fully understand why at the time.

The website was created a full 9 months before the property was open, and we set up accounts with Booking.com, Expedia and Airbnb. The result was that we had 52,000€ of room bookings BEFORE the doors to the building were even open.

Now that GuestDiary is charging customers automatically we dont even have to worry about taking payment from the customer. GuestDiary basically runs itself, we hardly ever log in to it except to adjust prices occasionally, although we know they are on the end of the phone if we need them.
